Location Changes!

We have changed the location from the shop shutter to college location because our actors are not willing to travel far to film and they will not be available in the weekends. We will be using the green tin cargo background and the orange and yellow brick wall. Due to our new actors clashes with timetable and reliability college location seems to be the best solution as our deadline for filming is soon.

Recce TV Studio

TV Studio

These are the pictures for the tv studio location shoot, this is where the two males will be lip syncing , with this we will also be using 180 degree panning in the chorus and then we will editing it to make it 360 degree. We will use close ups and wide mid shots for this and we will use both the black background and the white background.
The actors will wear all white for the black background and all black for the white background. So we have more footage for our video.

Firstly the guys will sing the lyrics while they lip sync everything we will use low angle view and possibly birds eye view.

Long shot of the studio and the lighting set for filming. The two guys will not stand anywhere near the walls instead they will stand in the centre so it will be easier to pan 180 degrees

Recce College Location

First Location - College theatre to canteen finalised

We will be using an establishing shot of the canteen without people and then with people this shows that the canteen is crowded with people, we hope that we are able to film here and the college theatre for our first location.

Recce of Prince Regent Station

Prince Regent Station

We chose to film at this station because of the stairs and the glass bridge where the trains go by. This location was illustrated in our storyboard of our two females dancing to the music this is our conceptual idea because the location is unusual for a promo video and it does not link to the lyrics in any form.
Side view of the stairs at the station. This is where the 2 female dancers will be dancing (on the actual stairs)

Wide shot of the bridge at the station
Prince Regent Station is very quiet so getting  someone to sign our location release to film here would be hard as there are hardly workers at the station. Therefore we might ask for permission from custom house which is not too far from Regent station to  film here, also there should not be a problem as there are much people at the station so our footage wouldn't disturb the public.

Recce Marsh Lane Park and Theatre (club shoot)

Marsh Lane Park

These are the images of where we'd possibly like to shoot the second verse of the track, at Marsh Lane. We chose this park because it has a basketball court and a path way near the court. This links to our idea/storyboard of the guy playing basketball by himself, then sees the girl jogging past the court and tries to get her attention while also lip syncing the second verse.

The basketball court for when the guy will be playing basketball.

Close up of the path way where the girl will be jogging from

We wouldn't need permission to film at this park as it is a pubic area. It may be busy if we filmed here especially if the weather is good so there may be distractions from the public (little kids playing around). The weather conditions would be problematic as we plan to shoot the scene when it's quite sunny.

The Alfred Hitchcock Theatre for the club location

we will not be using these chairs for the scene because we want people on their feet dancing and not sitting down.

During the shoot of the club scene we may use this part of the hall because of the platforms on these seats,
we have permission to use the college hall

we will be using the front of the hall for the club scene  as the story board shows that the club scene is full
even though it is spacious here we will use close ups and mid-shots to make it look like there is more people in the shot.
